Meet the designer

Born and raised in Messolonghi, a city with a history and a long tradition, Athena Karatzogianni, the creator behind the Athena brand, showed from a very early age her artistic nature and her love for clothing.

After her first studies at the University of Piraeus on Digital Systems and after several years of work in the Banking industry, she realized that doing the job you love is definitely half of happiness. So she made her dream come true by studying Fashion Design and soon Athena Atelier came true.

With her first collection of clothes awarded at the Greek Fashion Week and with biggest prize the trust of hundreds of girls in the part of the wedding dress, she looks to the future with great optimism, already counting 7 successful years in the field.
